What this conversion is for
Move recognized physical board data into a KiCad board for inspection and further work. Original source libraries and authored design policies may not carry over completely.
Convert supported Altium Designer files to KiCad project (board and schematic). Select more outputs to get them in the same job.
In development — results may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Shared editor engine for supported board and authored schematic profiles. Coverage and independent qualification are reported separately.
The contents of your file determine which information can be preserved. Each result includes its own conversion notes.
Use the original PCB document for this board conversion. The result depends on the supported layout data in that document; it does not reconstruct the authored schematic or guarantee that source libraries and design rules transfer.
Compare layer count, board outline, footprint sides and rotations, pad geometry, holes and net assignments. Review zones and run the destination application’s design checks before continuing layout work.

A package for each successful output, plus conversion notes. If an output cannot preserve the required information, its result explains why.
Yes. Upload once, select the outputs you need, and follow the job using its private link. Free, no account.

Use the original PCB document for board conversion. Keep related files in a ZIP. A schematic or library file is a different input and does not contain a finished board layout.
Open the result in KiCad and compare board dimensions, padstacks, nets and bottom-side footprints. Review conversion notes before editing the imported board.
Compare layer mapping, outlines, padstacks and component placement with the source board. Native Altium output is distinct from importing an Altium board.
Identify ambiguous .brd, .pcb and .dsn files before conversion. Learn which PCB files contain layout, manufacturing layers or electrical connections.
