Terms of use
These terms explain the service you request when you submit files to pcbx.tools. Keep your originals and review the result before using it.

The service you request
DNN TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED operates pcbx.tools. The service currently offers file conversion without a charge or an account. Submitting files asks us to process them and make the requested results available under these terms.
A supported route applies to supported contents, not every file with that extension. Each requested output has its own result. An original-file copy preserves the source package; it does not rebuild the design in a new format. PDF is an output format only.
Agreeing to these terms does not grant consent to analytics or advertising. Those choices are separate, and refusing optional cookies does not prevent conversion.
Your files and intellectual property
You retain your existing rights in the files and designs you provide. Upload only material you are entitled to provide and process. If you act for an organisation, you must have its authority.
You give us permission to copy, process, convert and temporarily store the files, provide downloads through the job link, and investigate problems with the requested conversion. This permission is limited to operating the requested service; it does not transfer ownership or grant a right to sell your designs, publish them for promotion or use them to train a model.
Conversion does not remove third-party rights, licences or confidentiality duties attached to source material. Rights in any generated file remain subject to those existing rights and applicable law.
Confidential material and access
The service receives and stores your files. Anyone who obtains a job link can access available results and request deletion. Do not post that link publicly or share it with someone who should not have access.
The public upload flow does not by itself establish a non-disclosure agreement, an organisation-specific data-processing agreement or a particular data-residency commitment. Confirm any arrangements your project requires before sending confidential material or personal data.
Review before relying on a result
We do not promise that every source feature can be preserved, that the service will always be available, or that an output will satisfy a particular manufacturing process.
- Read the output’s conversion notes and reported limitations. A completed job can contain failed, unsupported or partial outputs.
- Check the result in suitable design or manufacturing software. Confirm dimensions, layers, drilling, connections and other information your next step requires.
- Keep a separate original. The converter is not a backup service, an engineering approval or a guarantee that a design is ready to manufacture.
Acceptable use and service limits
Do not upload material unlawfully, infringe another person’s rights, try to obtain someone else’s files, or use uploads or requests to attack or disrupt the service.
Uploads, queue capacity, processing time and downloads have limits. Requests may be rejected or processing stopped when those limits are reached, a file is unsupported, or continued processing would threaten the service. An unavailable format is not silently substituted with another output.
File availability and deletion
Uploads and results expire 7 days after submission. You can delete a queued or finished job earlier when no download is active. Cleanup may wait for active work.
Download the files you need before expiry. Deleting or cancelling a job does not recall copies someone has already downloaded. Service interruptions can make results unavailable before their scheduled expiry.
Other services and your rights
Following an external link or sending a design to another service is a separate action governed by that service’s arrangements. A link does not transfer your board automatically.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or removes rights where applicable law does not allow that exclusion. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights continue to apply.
These terms may be updated for future use as the service changes. A change does not itself authorise a new purpose for files you previously submitted.
